Rugby Australia has created a single sign-in portal for all online Rugby services. This portal will be the central place to sign in for a range of Rugby activities.
In 2018, user can get direct access to the Rugby Learning Centre (RLC). This is a system where you can take the online Smart Rugby course, register for face-to-face courses run by Member Unions, check your current accreditation and keep track of your progress gaining new accreditations.

With the launch of the Rugby Learning Centre in 2016, one of the major changes to education within rugby union has been the development of Smart Rugby as an online e-Learning course. In 2018, a concussion module has been added to this course and covers information pertaining to coach and referee responsibilities.

Rugby Australia coach development, education and training framework has been redesigned to focus heavily of the provision of ongoing, accessible, relevant coach development that provides coach support throughout a coach’s career. Although focusing upon education, Rugby AU Coach Development framework still provides accreditation following course attendance and the successful completion of all associated pre-course preparation and post course assessment.
Rugby Australia is adopting a Continual Professional Development (CPD) point re - accreditation system that provides coaches with the flexibility to undertake ongoing education specific to their needs and interest. The current accreditation a coach holds will determine the number of CPD accreditation points required to achieve re-accreditation.
