In 2013, ARU release a presentation on Decision Making at Scrum. This presentation focused on key issues such as identifying who is causing a collapse, and what the referee should look for and in what order.

Following the implementation of a new engagement sequence in 2015, ARU has fully updated the presentation for 2015 with all new videos and a new focus on the setup of the scrum.

There are 2 presentations, firstly a PowerPoint covering Setup and Decision Making at Scrum, and secondly a Scrum exercise with 11 video clips that allow you to make your own decision before seeing the recommended sanction or decision (sometimes, it’s just a reset!)

This presentation has been distributed to all States for use in education sessions. For a copy of the content, please email your State Referee Education contact.
